    Journal Description

One of the primary aims of SVIMS is to promote research in relevant, contemporary issues relating to business, industry, administration and leadership. DAWN was launched in January 2014 to encourage the culture of research among the academic community and to bridge the gap between researchers and industrial practitioners. The Journal focuses on emerging trends in the global business scenario, on new theories, policies and trends that will affect industrial development and contemporary issues relating to all aspects of business management. DAWN does not foster the outdated publish-or-perish culture. Our aim is to provide an outlet for the healthy exchange of fresh ideas and to promote the dissemination of new practices and thoughts at the forefront of business developments. DAWN has carried articles, case studies and projects which highlight Gen Next policies and applications that are of special relevance to India. In fact, a resurgent, emergent India is the centre of our attention, though global trends are featured in appropriate measure. Diversity Management and Equal Opportunities figure prominently in our publication. Ethics in business dealings is a sine qua non of SVIMS: therefore, the challenges of ethics are always accorded prominence of position in this journal. DAWN has its own Team of Review Editors from multiple Management fields. Our editors take fair and unbiased decisions independent from commercial considerations and ensure a fair and appropriate peer review process. We follow the Protocol of Double-blind multi-level Reviews and adopt suitable anti-plagiarism procedures. Our decision to accept or reject a paper for publication is based on the paper’s importance, originality and clarity, and the study’s validity and its relevance to the focus of our journal.
